The location - close to the city yet in a quiet area. No noise at night so able to sleep well. Charged for room only; only pay for breakfast if I want it. Close to South Melbourne, public transport & Bedes restaurant. The price is right - don't change a thing - love it. Thank you

On the whole the unit was very clean; I'm being a nitpicker here and not complaining but the grout in the shower could do with a course brushing as it had areas of mould (dark areas) but not a big deal really.Our social club does and will continue to book The Biz for our interstate visitors.

The quiet of the hotel and its location yet so close to everything via tram. Very affordable.

good value for being so close to the city. good basic comfort. I am not looking for anything else. Just an overnight stay. I am a backpacker and spent the next 5 nights in a tent in the bush

It was cheap, clean, easy to find, and the beds were really comfy for a bbudget motel

The bed was comfortabe, the room was clean and the bathroom was convenient. Staff were friendly.

When we arrived our room was not ready even though we had been contacted by the hotel the day before to check what time we would be arriving. No milk in room for coffee. Breakfast was late and when it came it was incomplete. In both cases we had to contact the desk. The response was very good but we should not have had to ask for these things.

Location - quick tram ride to city center, beach, Rod Laver Arena

Milk should be available all hours - if we forget to get it in the morning, no coffee after 8pm!

Well located, friendly staff, rooms cleaned daily, air conditioning, television, tea and coffee making facilities. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for accommodation in South Melbourne.

This is not a 24 hour motel. They close the reception at around 9pm each night. I arrived late one night, and witnessed some travelers who arrived late and slept the entire night in the lobby area.

Good location with access to the city and public transport.

South Melbourne is a little area not infiltrated by through roads, so it's quiet and easy to drive or walk around - so location good. Parking is first class - almost unheard of space for thesedays. Melbourne's easy wide streets. I drove over to my relatives in Carlton through town, and it was easy.

The beds are a bit sagged . Old "gertie" the lift, who groans away like some strange neighbour who has a workshop upstairs - I almost came to like her. I couldn't see a telephone in my room anywhere. The exhaust fan in the bathroom didn't work. One of the hinges on the wardrobe door was broken(room 111). The 'do not disturb' sign doesn't really hang on the door - you should use a slot design there - works better.
